Three artists each working in different media present a range of work inspired by, and reflecting, the beauty of the natural world.
From 2004-2011 County Archaeologist Jon Hoyle led a wide-ranging survey which shed a dramatically new light on the archaeology of the Forest of Dean. In this fascinating illustrated talk, he gives an overview of the project, outlining intriguing case studies and pointing to exciting future possibilities for unlocking the Forest’s secret histories. Master the art of sourdough breadmaking and discover all the health benefits of this traditional slow-fermented bread. Over the two-day course you will make at least three sourdough loaves to take home with you, and receive personal tuition from expert baker and teacher Dede Liss. Camphill is a well-known international movement of communities including people with additional needs. Its history goes back to the 1920s with the first Camphill community established in Scotland in the 1940s. In this talk Mark will explore the shared history of Newnham and the two neighbouring Camphill communities at The Grange Village and Oaklands Park.

Still Out is an audio-visual collaboration between music producers Will Cookson and Tom Haverly and filmmaker Rufus Exton exploring ambient soundscapes, landscapes and what it means to pass through time and space.
