In the early 1990s James Greenwood left his job in the City of London to recreate the South American leg of the famous ‘Tschiffely’s Ride’, a ten-thousand-mile solo horseback journey made by the explorer and adventurer Aime Tschiffely in 1925 in protest against US trade tariffs.
From South America, James and his wife Carina went on to travel the world, making their way through Japan, Asia, the Middle East and Europe before finally heading home to the Forest of Dean.
In this illustrated talk, James Greenwood will be sharing some of the amazing pictures and stories he brought back from his travels.
