Develop your creative writing skills with the help of experienced tutor Jo Bousfield. Newnham and Camphill – An Illustrated talk by Mark Moodie, Thursday 20 February, 7.30pm.

Camphill is a well-known international movement of communities including people with additional needs. Its history goes back to the 1920s with the first Camphill community established in Scotland in the 1940s. In this talk Mark will explore the shared history of Newnham and the two neighbouring Camphill communities at The Grange Village and Oaklands Park.

Paintings by Gerald Thornton, Tuesday 11 to Saturday 22 March, 11.00am to 4.00pm

Now approaching his ninetieth year, local artist Gerald Thornton has spent a lifetime capturing the textures and colours of the Forest of Dean. This major exhibition is open daily from 11.00am to 4.00pm excluding Sundays and Mondays. Admission is free and all are welcome.
