SASHIKO course with Ally Goff– Wednesday 7 and 21 October, from 2.00 – 4.00 pm

Explore the Japanese craft of using simple embroidery to mend and decorate fabric with tutor Ally Goff.
Over two 2-hour sessions, you will learn the basics of the craft, including different stitch patterns and use of appliqué. There will be projects to work through and lots of encouragement to personalise your work.
The sessions are on Wednesday 7 and 21 October, from 2.00 to 4.00 pm. There will also be an optional, informal get-together on Wednesday 14 October 2.00 – 4.00 pm where you can continue your work with other course members and share ideas. There will be no tutor on this date.
The fee for the course is £32.50, payable below. You will also need to buy a starter pack of a Sashiko needle, pins and fabric kits for the first two projects. The cost of this is £7.50, payable to Ally herself.
The course is limited to 15 people, so please apply in good time to be sure of a place.
