Art Auction for PALESTINE, Saturday 4 April, 5.00pm, with viewing from 10.00am

Join us for drinks, live entertainment and an auction of artwork by leading Forest artists in aid of Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). Many local creatives including Doug Eaton, Mollie Meager, Derek Lamb, Lizzie Godden and Deborah Gane have donated works to the event, which has been organised in response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank.

Viewing will take place from 10.00am, followed by the auction and evening gathering at 5.00pm which will feature live entertainment from Lisa Jenkinson and Dissident Diva, canapés and a bar. It is hoped the auction will not only raise funds but also highlight the role of art as a force for solidarity, compassion, and community action.

Online gallery
In the run-up to the auction itself, an online gallery will be curated on Facebook, where donated works will be showcased as they arrive, giving potential buyers a chance to preview the lots and place bids remotely ahead of the event.
