Looking to develop your creative skills, build confidence and share ideas with other budding writers? Join The George Writing Group. We meet on the first Wednesday morning of each month in the Teal Room of The George Cafe between 10.30am and 12.00pm. New members are always welcome!
How it works
We take turns to lead writing exercises that stimulate free, on-the-spot writing. No style is off-limits, and the atmosphere is encouraging and supportive. There is no fee to join. Just turn up with a notebook and pen and buy a drink and maybe some cake to support The George.
