‘Make and Move’ is a yoga class aimed to gently strengthen and mobilise your body, whilst firing up your mind with imagery: a blend of Vinyasa flow and Katonah yoga to better sustain you for ageing, stress and life in general. It’s a great option if you’re new to yoga or prefer a slower pace. Classes take place on Wednesdays at 10.00 am, and the cost is £10 for a single session, £40 for a bundle of five classes (to be used within 60 days across any of Lucy’s classes) or £80 for a bundle of 10 classes (to be used within 90 days). A degree in Sports Science combined with experience of managing outdoor events and years of playing outside – swimming, running, rolling in the grass – have given Lucy an appreciation of the combined power of nature and movement. An avid cold-water swimmer, her certifications include: Yoga teacher (200hr Yoga Alliance + 200hr Katonah Yoga – one of the few in the UK), UK Athletics Running Leader, MovNat Coach L1, Mountain Leader (Summer training) and student of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
