FUNK & FOOD NIGHT, Saturday 18 April, 7.30pm

Join DJs Ade Simpson from Newnham and Bob Jones from St Briavels (formerly of Replay Records, Bristol) for an ALL-VINYL night of funk, soul, and acid jazz grooves to celebrate Record Store Day. Tickets £10 including tasty bowl of home-cooked soul food, plus bar and snacks.

Record Store Day is a semi-annual event established in 2008 to “celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store”. Held on one Saturday every April and every Black Friday in November, the day brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores around the world. Local stores taking part include Grinning Soul Records in Monmouth and Badlands in Cheltenham.
