Ebb and Flow Exhibition: ARTISTS’ TALKS introduced by Mollie Meager and Rachel Bomford, Tuesday 17 September

17 September at 7:00 pm

Free

Meet the Ebb & Flow artists, find out more about the themes behind the exhibition and be part of the effort to save our rivers.

The River Wye has now reached a state of emergency. It is being killed by pollution, a chemical cocktail of excessive agricultural nutrients, sewage  microplastics and superbugs. The campaign group Save The Wye is calling for immediate action to halt the pollution. Among its demands are: a single, cross-border approach to tackling the crisis across the Wye catchment; the establishment of a Water Protection Zone; enforcement action against polluters; financial support for farmers to transition to river-friendly farming, and action to empower consumers with honest labelling.

Admission to this event is free, but seats are limited – advance booking essential. If you plan to attend, please let us know by using the RSVP form below.

Bar, soft drinks and snacks available.
