We are very sorry to launch our news page with the sad news of the death of Mr John Bramley, a local resident in Newnham and a generous and engaged member and supporter of the project to resurrect The George for the community from very early on.
John agreed to become Patron to The George Community Hub and with his long professional business experience his gentle, kind advice was greatly appreciated by members of the committee over the last few years.
A few months ago John graciously offered his resignation from the role of patron, feeling his health prevented him from contributing as he would like.
Our heartfelt condolences to all his family.
