From 2004-2011 County Archaeologist Jon Hoyle led a wide-ranging survey which shed a dramatically new light on the archaeology of the Forest of Dean. In this fascinating illustrated talk, he gives an overview of the project, outlining intriguing case studies and pointing to exciting future possibilities for unlocking the Forest’s secret histories. Master the art of sourdough breadmaking and discover all the health benefits of this traditional slow-fermented bread. Over the two-day course you will make at least three sourdough loaves to take home with you, and receive personal tuition from expert baker and teacher Dede Liss. Free individual follow-up support will also be available after the course ends.
